Keys of Faith

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalam Alaikum warahmatu Allah Wabarakatuh. I like to present a series of emails under the name of "Keys of Faith" as an effort to be evaluated only by Allah,may HE accepts them in my favor in the doomsday. I hope these emails or posts, whatever the name is, will be of value to our muslim and non muslim colleagues. Please, accept my thanks for calling me to be a member in this group.             1. Qura~an is the message of Allah
     
       One question a disbeliever may have is: Had Muhammad (SAW) wrote the Qura~an himself, and if not how to prove that it was sent from God?

       In a simple argument, the reply might be that Muhammad (SAW) was illiterate, and it was out of his reach to author such a book. Also, Arabs at that time were masters of the language and they never raised such a question because they knew it was out of reach by humans. That was the reason they claimed that it was dictated by demons to Muhammad (SAW). But of course demons will not ask humans to believe in God and his messengers and to be kind to all humans especially the weak: Old people, women and children, or even plants
and animals. This is not a work of demons.

     However, Qura~an carries the verifications of its message as we
are going to see:

* When the Romans lost a fight to Persians, people of Meccah rejoiced, that Romans who are Christians following a divine book had been defeated by the Persians who were non-believers at that time. Fascinatingly, the Qura~an stated in verses 2-4 of Surat Alrrom: "The Romans are defeated. In nearest earth and after their defeat they will win. In few years  the decision of Allah before (that) and after and thence the believers will rejoice. With Allah victory."

     Now, at a time of very slow flow of information where no planes, no cars, no CIA, no MI5, nothing but camels, horses or doves; how come that a man-prophet will risk his cause and message on a prediction of a fight between two far away nations that may or may not occur in few years to come? What if this did not happen or got the reverse prediction?

The verses stated divine and sure information that the Romans will win, and they won. How about the "near earth"? Do you know that when the fight took place it was carried out at an area considered the lowest below sea level? Think of that! Whoever at that time makes such a prediction on fighting and geography 14 hundred years ago?!

** In verse 67 of Surat Almaedah states:" And Allah protects you from
people".

      After that Muhammad (SAW) freed his guards from duty and never returned them back and continued his life unguarded. Again, he was sure of the message and the Sender. He was not the author of the Verses.

*** There are verses in the Qura~an telling us about cosmic and physical phenomena which were never mentioned in any preceded books or writings. These verses speak about matters and incidents unknown completely to the people at that time or earlier times. Some of these findings are very recently discovered or known in our present days. Those verses mentioned here are some of many, and mentioned as examples:

       In verses 19 and 20 of surat AlAnkaboot: "Don't they see how Allah begin creation then repeat it   this is very easy to Allah. Say go in earth and look how Allah began creation then Allah will do the final creation   Allah is able over every thing."One may meditate the wording of "go in earth" and think that it was only available by recent scientific geological evidence that life had
ended on earth and began again at least two times millions of years ago (There were theories about that, but they did occur). Who, not Muhammad (SAW) or any one, could say something like that out of no information at all?

       In surat Hood verse 7, the Qura~an stated " And his Thrown was
on water".It was only few months ago that Space evidence had been announced that the the matter filling Space between Galaxies is water vapor. Any comment on that?!

      In verse 47 of surat Alzariyat " The heavens are built with hands and expanding".It was known only in the 20th century that Galaxies are traveling farther from each other.

Is it clear now that the Qura~an is the message of Allah to Mankind?
